UNSIGNED (American, 19th/20th Century) PORTRAIT OF THE SCHOONER SEHOME AND PHOTOGRAPH OF THE SCHOONER GRACE A. MARTIN. 1) Unframed ship portrait showing a four masted black hulled schooner sailing left to right with full sails. U.S. flag, ship flag and company flag are at top of masts. Green and black sea under a gathering dark sky with glimpses of blue. 2) Period photograph of the launching of the schooner “Grace A. Martin” in Bath, Maine. The five masted ship, seen coming off the cradle and sliding into the water. A large group of people look on. The photograph glued to original backing which has legend with information including “Photo by Holme” and launching date of July 16, 1904. SIZE: 1. 15-3/4″h x 20″w. 2. 16″h x 20″w.
