INDEPENDENCE HALL CAST IRON STILL BANK. Circa 1875 Enterprise Mfg. Co., Philadelphia, PA. Pat. SEP. 14. 1875. Made for the centennial exposition of 1876 held in Philadelphia. One side cast with “BIRTHPLACE OF AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE”. The opposite end of the building cast with “LIBERTY, PROCLAIMED JULY, 4, 1776”. SIZE: 9-1/2″ h x 9-1/2″ l x 7-7/8″ d. CONDITION: Cupola of tower slightly bent, otherwise structurally very good. Painted surfaces faded but mostly intact. 9-24675 (500-700)
