CLARA D. DAVIDSON (American, 1874-1962) THE GRAPE ARBOR. Oil on canvas scene shows several women harvesting grapes from a large grape arbor which looks out over water with sailboats. Two children have grabbed a bunch and are eating them on the side. Signed lower right. Housed in a fine carved and gilt replacement frame with gilt and carved liner with gilt wood artist plaque. Also, what appears to be an Estate stamp and “6089” on reverse. SIZE: 20″ x 16″. CONDITION: Some touch up, very good. 9-97360 (1,500-2,500)
