The painted diorama depicting a model of the sailing ship Laura, a three-masted merchantman under full sail, with carved wooden sails, flying a company pennant “PG” and two American flags. In the foreground a coastal schooner and small tugboat, together with a lighthouse on a rock promontory, the background a painted blue sky, coastline, and birds in flight. SIZE: 23″ h. x 33″ w. x 8-1/2″ overall d. CONDITION: Very good original condition, signal flags need re-attaching. 9-93266 (800-1,200)
