SANTIAGO GOMEZ REGIDOR (Spanish, 19th Century) “PAISAGE”. Outstanding oil on wood panel shows a man and woman walking along wooded path with approaching black dog. The woman is dressed in white with a red caped parasol, gentleman in blue and gold. The light shines through opening in woods on couple. Signed and inscribed on bottom right corner Madrid-Mars MDCCCLXXXVIII. Housed in its magnificent original pierce decorated floral frame with name tag and title. Back of frame has Buenos Aires label.
