*WINCHESTER MODEL 03 SEMI-AUTO RIFLE. Cal. 22 Auto. SN 4873. Early style without safety, 20” bbl with standard open sights. The wood is uncheckered straight grain American walnut with straight stock and crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl and receiver retain 95-96% strong bright original blue with some light flaking and fine pitting on top of the receiver and trigger bow with a small spot of pitting at the muzzle and scattered pinpoints of rust just above the sight. Forend cap is flaked to about 30% dark blue and has a spot of crusty rust. Wood is sound with a couple of nicks near the toe, otherwise minor handling and storage marks and a small stain near the forend cap, otherwise retains virtually all of its original bright factory varnish. Mechanics are fine, brilliant shiny bore. 4-52642 JR349 (1,000-2,000)
