DOUBLE RIPPER SLED BELL TOY. Manufactured by N. N. Hill Brass Co., this is another great example of the company’s ingenuity and great design! A charming toy depicting four children riding on a ripper sled down a hill, the front youth stretched out with a black child riding behind him holding his legs, a young girl and a happy male child riding behind. This particular example came from the Bernard Barenholtz collection, one of four known. SIZE: 8 1/2″. CONDITION: Toy appears to have some old paint restoration and minor repair on left rear runner.
