REGENCY INLAID ROSEWOOD DRESSING BOX WITH BRASS STRINGING. Circa 1810. This fine example fitted with brass campaign carrying handles, with original velvet-lined interior, with full complement of cut-glass bottles, boxes, and jars for toiletries. The lid concealing an adjustable looking glass. SIZE: 5″ h. x 12″ w. x 7-3/4″ d. PROVENANCE: From an extensive private Gulf Coast collection. CONDITION: In fine original condition, with rich patina. The lid fitted with a scalloped nameplate engraved with the initials “MP”. 9-93513 (500-800)
