WILLIAM BALDWIN (AMERICAN, 20TH CENTURY) “THE BAUD AND BLUENOSE RACING”. Unframed outstanding oil on Masonite yacht racing scene shows the famous Maine racing yacht “BLUENOSE” pitted against “THE BAUD”. They are nose to nose in full sail, sailing right to left along the coast of Maine. Several schooners and motor yachts observe the race. All under a light blue and white cloud sky, dotted with seagulls. Outstanding detail and mastery of the scene. Typed label on reverse with title, artist and address of Belfast, Maine.
