*EARLY RUGER NO. 1 SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 222 Rem. SN 5854. Fine single shot rifle with 26” tapered rnd bbl with Ruger brass bead ramp front sight and 1/4 rib with folding sight. It has exceptional 2-pc, American walnut wood with standard forearm and pistol grip stock with early Ruger thin red pad. CONDITION: As new, appears unfired, retaining virtually all of its original bright factory finish to both metal and wood. There is a small nick on the left side panel. Lever latch does not fully engage, otherwise mechanics are fine and it has a brilliant shiny bore. Box is fine. 4-52858 JR520 (1,500-2,500)
