INTERESTING PRESIDENTIAL RELATED MEMORABILIA LOT. 1) 20-1/4″ x 11-1/2″ framed collage presentation having Harry S. Truman First Day Issue envelope, signature of his wife, Bess Truman. Housed in a modern frame with black cutout matte. 2) 17-1/2″ x 10-1/4″ framed, signed, typed letter from Richard Nixon on White House stationary with envelope dated Sept. 13, 1971. 3) 10-1/2″ x 9″ signed photograph “Very Best Wishes to Hon. John Ferguson from his friend Harry Truman”. 4) 10″ x 13″ framed collage of two handkerchiefs, one Smith & Robinson with a donkey, the other Hoover & Curtis with an elephant. Also, signatures of Alfred Smith & Charles Curtis. Included in the collage is a Herbert Hoover medal. 5) 7-1/2″ x 9-1/2″ framed collage including a cut letter with the autograph of Theodore Roosevelt with black border having been used for one month after the assassination of McKinley. A Progressive Party bookmark “Founder’s Day October 27, 1912”. Also a Progressive moose pin. Housed in an antique split column grain painted frame. 6) 6″ x 7″ collage of Nixon pins & medal. 7) 30″ Richard M. Nixon pennant (with some foxing). 8) A red, white & blue “I Like Ike” handkerchief. 9) A small collection of political buttons including Landon Knox; Franklin D. Roosevelt; Fereotype Hannibal Hamlin & Lincoln (damage to both images); and more. A framed transfer on porcelain plaque of McKinley. PROVENANCE: From a coastal New Jersey home.
