TWO NEIL BURGESS “COUNTY FAIR” BROADSIDES. Both have been laid down on white cardstock, printed by “H.A. Thomas & Wylie Lith Co. NY”. The title “Grand Production of Neil Burgess’ “County Fair””. One shows Burgess dressed as a woman in a nightgown with boy & girl. The other show Burgess dressed as a woman climbing a ladder and being greeted by a traveling salesman. Unframed. SIZE: Poster: 30″ x 20″. Overall: 32″ x 24″. PROVENANCE: From a Rangeley, Maine private collection. CONDITION: Toned & foxing, 3-1/2″ from bottom edge is remnants of an added paper strip which probably announced the location & time of the show. 9-23849 (1,000-2,000)
