TIFFANY STUDIOS CANDLE LAMP. Very nice Tiffany Studios candle lamp has gold favrile base with twisting rib design and is finished with a ruffled gold favrile shade with stretched rim. Base has bright gold iridescence with pink highlights and strong blue highlights around the foot. Shade has rich gold iridescence with strong pink highlights. Shade and base are each signed “LCT”. Lamp is accompanied by an acid etched pine needle pattern shade. The pine needle pattern is backed with the remnants of gold silk material which is in turn backed by a clear mica liner. Shade is stamped in the metal “Tiffany Studios” and “Pat. Apld For”. SIZE: 12-1/4″ t. Pine needle shade is 5-1/4″ dia. PROVENANCE: From a private Virginia collection. CONDITION: Ruffled shade has some small flakes to outer edge of upper rim. Celluloid candle insert has been wrapped with tape to make it fit the lamp. 5-60356, 5-60379 (500-800)
