Standing figure of a satyr squeezing grapes into a chalice held aloft by a nymph, attended by two young satyrs, on oval mound base with gilt scroll borders. Incised “D63”. Impressed mark “125”. Painted in green “99”. Crossed swords in underglaze blue. SIZE: 9-1/2″ h x 8″ l. PROVENANCE: From a fine New Jersey home. CONDITION: Losses in tree foliage, grape vine leaves, loss to right hoof of one young satyr, chips to other young satyr and nymph, tight hairlines on base. 9-24522 (1,000-2,000)
