LOT OF FIVE BANKS. 1) Tin with red, white and blue metal Uncle Sam hat. Manufactured by Chein. SIZE: 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ x 4 1/8″. 2) Plastic hat bank with advertising “Equitable Savings and Loan Association”. SIZE: 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″. 3) Plastic hat bank with advertising “Citizen’s Federal Savings and Loan Association”. SIZE: 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″. 4.) & 5.) The image and function of these two banks are the same as the original 1886 cast iron version. Uncle Sam is red, white and blue with a gray hat with a blue band containing gold stars. The umbrella is blue and affixed to his leg. The top and bottom of this bank is green, the center red with gold eagle and gold banner. The lettering of “bank” on either side is gold. The coin removal hole is a twist-off. Made in Hong-Kong. C 1952. CONDITION: Generally good. 1-26894 (150-250)
