LIONEL NUMBER 5 STEAM ENGINE. Standard gauge. Engine is complete with headlight, tierod is complete, crinkle coupler. Roof all original but ventilator on roof may have been redone. Has heavy case iron cow catcher on front. Very nice paint. Flag stanchions. Engine is complete, pick up is with the engine. Dark red window trim. Under window lettering says “NYC & HRRR”. Mechanism and thick rim drivers. Drive rod, frame and wheels are very clean. Great early locomotive. CONDITION: Some paper stains on roof. Some tarnish on the bluing and minor surface rust on handrails. 1-7906-3 (900-1,400)
