LOT OF 9 PIECES OF 19TH CENTURY LEATHER. Included in this lot are two Civil War NCO belts, missing belt buckles. 1) One belt is complete with keeper and adjustment hook. 2) Other belt lacks keeper but retains adjustment hook. 3) Civil War enlisted Cavalry belt missing hangers. Has silver applied eagle buckle with nice dark patina. 4) Brown leather belt with Civil War era officer’s buckle. Eagle worn at high spots. 5) Civil War era officer’s haversack with leather cover, tarred linen inner flap. Haversack is in poor condition with numerous tears and separations. Tab and over-the-shoulder strap are more modern replacements. 6) Brown leather flagstaff carrier consisting of over-the-neck strap holding an attached leather cup that would hold base of flagpole, probably late 19th century. 7) Navy officer’s belt, well post-Civil War. 8) Officer’s sword belt with white metal buckle, post-Civil War. 9) 45-70 cartridge box pouch with “GMA” box plate. “GMA” probably stands for Georgia Military Academy. 4-56182, 4-56183, 4-56185, 4-56188, 4-456189-10 (Lot of 2), 4-56193, 4-56211 JS112 (500-1,000)
