This nice Folk Art carving depicting a young boy in uniform with animated facial features, close cropped hair and smiling. Wearing a red jacket with yellow and black trim, his left hand extended palm up, wearing black and gold striped pants and laced boots. Mounted on a square, notch carved plinth. SIZE: 62″ h overall. CONDITION: Structurally good. With old restoration, notably to proper left elbow. With multiple layers of old paint throughout. Middle finger of left hand with tip absent. 9-28834 (2,500-3,500)
