2 ADVERTISING BROADSIDES. Circa 1839, 1850. The first, a broadside on silk advertising events at the Tremont Theatre taking place on January 25, 1839; mounted within a lemon gold gilt frame. The second, a broadside on paper listing a temperance lecture at Gunnison’s Hall, Kittery Point, Maine, January 1850; mounted in a marbleized frame of the period. SIZE: 1st: 10″ x 6″ sight. 2nd: 8-1/2″ sq. sight. CONDITION: Silk broadside with deterioration to fabric throughout, but retains clear and readable print. Temperance broadside with minor overall discoloration and foxing. 9-99396, 9-99397 (400-800)
