TWO KRIS KNIVES WITH SCABBARDS. 19th century, Indonesia. Common weapons in Indonesia, each with a carved scabbard and with exceptionally nice carved ivory pommels, the first joined to a silvered thread grip. The second carved with a dragon within foliate borders, joined to a turned copper grip. SIZE: 1) 21″ l. 2) 25″ l. CONDITION: Scabbards with damages on each. Blades remain sharp. Surfaces with minimal pitting and rusting. Ivory pommels very good with nice patination. Silvered grip in need of tightening and in need of minor adjustments. Other wise good.
