FOLK ART FOX CARVING. Mid-19th century, New England. This full bodied example in pine, carved from the solid, depicting a fox on rockwork. The finely detailed carving with originally painted surfaces and with varnish overcoat. SIZE: 17-1/4″ h x 34″ l. CONDITION: Ear tips with old, professional restorations.
