MAINE SHERATON DROP LEAF BIRCH & MAPLE WORK TABLE. Second quarter of the 19th Century. Rectangular top with hinged D-form leaves having notched corners projecting above a conforming frieze fitted with a single deep tiger maple drawer simulating two drawers, raised on swelled, cylindrical, tapering, ring-turned legs on suppressed ball feet. SIZE: 29″ h x 19-1/2″ w x 24-3/4″ d. CONDITION: Professionally restored and repolished, fitted with later glass knobs. Otherwise very good. 9-98790 (400-600)
