HENRY PETHER (British, 1828-1865) MOONLIGHT CAMPFIRE ON THE RIVER. Oil on canvas nighttime scene shows a full moon with dark sky shining light on a river with cliff side mountains and castle. Boats are moored on left side to dock, a boat navigates the river and a large bonfire is being tended to by two men that can be seen on right side. Unsigned. Housed in an antique gold frame.
