US CIVIL WAR CAVALRY CARBINE SLING. Regulation Cavalry sling with iron 4-pc carbine hook. Leather strap is about 2-1/2” x 4-1/2’ with brass 2-tongued buckle and brass tip. Two inscribed lines follow the perimeters of the sling body. Sling hook is marked “O.B. NORTH & Co., NEW HAVEN, CT”. CONDITION: Very good overall. Some losses of finish.
