LOT OF 2 US CIVIL WAR CARTRIDGE BOXES. 1) Standard issue late war box with embossed US. Maker and inspector marks partially discernible on front flap. Complete with orig tins. CONDITION: Good solid, complete box. Crazed and covered with protectorate. 2) Civil War cartridge box, about 1” longer than the standard 58 cal. cartridge box. This box is probably 69 cal. Complete with orig tins. CONDITION: Box is very good. Leather is crazed and covered with protectorate. Tab is torn but still attached. 4-56189-8 JS93 (500-1,000)
