NEW YORK FEDERAL STYLE INLAID MAHOGANY CARD TABLE. 19th/20th Century. The square table with ovolo corners having a thin crossbanded top above the conforming frieze of five oval figured mahogany veneered panels alternating with oval paterae, each with a floral sprig flanked by rectangular panels with bookend inlays, the central patera inlaid with a floral-filled classical urn, raised on five square tapered legs with bellflower inlay and crossbanded cuffs. SIZE: 29″ h. x 35″ w. x 17″ d. PROVENANCE: From a fine Connecticut home. CONDITION: Professionally restored and repolished with some cosmetic inlay restoration. The primary top having a one-inch wide veneer splice the full width of the table. The secondary top with old shrinkage cracks. Otherwise very good overall with strong inlays and good color. 9-93009 (800-1,200)
