US CIVIL WAR CARTRIDGE BOX AND SLING. Box is maker marked ‘T.C. WILLIAMS & Co, NEW YORK, NEW YORK”. Box retains orig tins. Tab is replacement. Buff sling is maker marked “BOYD & SONS MAKERS, BOSTON”. Three ink initials “SGM” are written inside sling. Sling has orig eagle breastplate. CONDITION: Box is very sound with some cracking and crazing. Buff sling has about ¼” x ¾” area of rodent damage. 4-56199 JS89 (500-1,000)
