LOT OF SIX ANTIQUE OVAL SHAKER COVERED PANTRY BOXES. Lot includes: 1) 5″ x 11″ x 8-1/2″ in blue/green paint having three-fingers. The top pencil inscribed on interior “Mrs. R. L. Marshall So. Cushing, Maine”. 2) 4″ x 9″ x 6-1/2″ three-fingered box in original red paint. 3) 3″ x 8″ x 5-1/2″ two-fingered box with natural finish. 4) 3″ x 8″ x 5-1/2″ two-fingered box in natural finish. 5) 3″ x 6″ x 4-1/2″ old natural color. 6) 2-1/2″ h x 6″ x 4-1/2″ two-finger box with very light strawberry color. 7 & 8) Two modern reproduction Shaker boxes. CONDITION: 1) Original paint with losses but retaining a nice patina. 2) Nice old surface with some paint loss. 3) Shows use with finish loss. 4) Good. 5) Good. 6) Very good. 7 & 8) 9-99138 (800-1,200)
