Large oil on canvas landscape scene shows two fisherman in a boat at the edge of a calm lake which is reflecting the background hills and mountains which are being lit by a colorful sky and hidden sun. A shower is moving off to the right. Signed bottom right and dated “1876”. Housed in an outstanding original gesso decorated gilt frame with gilt liner. SIZE: 27″ x 44″.
