RARE TIFFANY STUDIOS TURTLEBACK CHANDELIER.

RARE TIFFANY STUDIOS TURTLEBACK CHANDELIER. Moorish-style geometric and turtleback hanging chandelier is predominantly constructed of heavily textured glass in yellows, cream and orange and is accented by two bands of emerald green Tiffany molded chunk glass. Lamp is further decorated with bronze beading, chains, balls and ribbon work. Illuminating this hanging chandelier is a four light cluster. An almost identical example of this extremely rare chandelier is pictured in Tiffany Lamps & Metalware by Alastair Duncan, pg. 324, image no. 1287 in original black and white Studios image. SIZE: 17″ dia x 18″ l. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with wear commensurate to age on bronze work. Four light cluster has been professionally assembled. 5-65702 (35,000-45,000)
