RARE FORGED IRON WAX JACK. Last quarter 18th century, America. Round tapering shaft joined to a dish-form wick stand on a tripod base raised on arched legs with penny feet. Revolving double-pigtail scissor type wick trimmer joined to the shaft. Early beeswax wick remains with the wax jack. SIZE: 10-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Original painted surfaces intact.
