YOMUD CHODOR CARPET, WEST TURKMENISTAN. Circa 1890. Nice example having four rows of eleven guls, alternating with latched minor guls, joined by a pole lattice, all on a brick ground, the main border with panels of latch hook diamond medallions. SIZE: 10′ x 6’10”. PROVENANCE: From a southern Maine collection. CONDITION: Very good overall, with good pile and rich colors. Loss to fringe and selvage.
