TWO MASONIC RELATED ITEMS. Last quarter 19th century, Massachusetts. Including a stereoscopic card of the New Masonic Temple circa 1875, Boston, Massachusetts published by John P. Soule, accompanied by the cover of the program of the dedication of the New Masonic Temple and a short history of the J.P. Soule business. Together with a stacked cardboard/wood carving (circa 1870’s) depicting a Masonic emblem mounted within a Victorian walnut frame, the matte of which is chip carved. SIZE: Emblem including matte: 15-1/2″ x 11-1/2″. Emblem: 5-3/4″ x 7″. PROVENANCE: Boston Estate, then Private Collection, New York City. CONDITION: Generally very good. Carving with appropriate toning from age. 9-25820 (400-600)
