FRENCH GILT PATINATED METAL CONICAL PENDULUM CLOCK. Mid-19th century. The circular enamel dial with open escapement and eight-day time-and-strike movement signed “JAPY”, surmounted by a cherub holding a blue spherical pendulum in the right hand, the pendulum moving in circular manner. The clock flanked by an oval portrait on easel and by a lyre draped with a wreath, raised on a stepped molded plinth, terminating in claw feet. SIZE: 13″ h. x 10-1/2″ w. CONDITION: Totally restored and cleaned. Very nice overall. 9-94249 (800-1,200)
