UNUSUAL FRENCH EMPIRE WALNUT RECAMIER. Mid 19th century. The canted back with rolled crest rail continuing to a serpentine frame with rolled foot. Raised on shaped legs the entire frame with incised, carved borders. The continuous frame upholstered in soft, light brown leather, the edges hand-stitched, the edges with brass tacks. SIZE: 33-1/2″h x 63″l x 25″w. CONDITION: Structurally very good. Wood surfaces with nice color and patina. The leather covering also very good. 9-24993 (600-800)
