LOT OF TWO MINIATURE REPRODUCTION NAVAL DECK CANNONS ON CARRIAGES. 1) This is a high quality reproduction of a Mexican War to Civil War period naval deck cannon with a 22” turned bbl painted black on an oak copy of a mid-19th C. naval deck carriage. The body is painted a barn red color. Iron hardware is painted black. The wheels were made of natural color. This gun is complete with miniature ramrod and worm. It is an actual firing replica. CONDITION: Unfired, as new. 2) High quality reproduction of a mid-19th C. naval deck cannon and carriage. The carriage is fashioned of walnut with all brass hardware and measures 18” long x 13-1/2” wide. The cannon tube is of cast iron painted black, is an actual firing replica measuring 27-1/4” long and 7-3/4” at the trunions. CONDITION: Very good. Carriage shows wear and some weathering. Two cotter pins are missing, which retain the wheels. Cannon tube shows some use, is roughly cast. Bore is dark and dirty. 4-56038-1, 4-56037 CW 39 (500-1,000)
