GOTHIC REVIVAL CARVED WALNUT CUPBOARD. Circa 1900, Belgium. The rectangular cabinet fitted with a pair of cupboard doors, centering a panel carved with an archangel slaying a dragon. Each cupboard door relief-carved with figures of saints, mounted with Gothic cast-iron hardware above an open shelf carved with Gothic trefoils and flanked by pierced spandrels. The backboard with linen fold panels. SIZE: 54″h x 45″w (overall) x 20-1/2″d. CONDITION: Structurally very good, with original surfaces and nice patina. Otherwise very good. 9-23739 (800-1,200)
