CHIPPENDALE CARVED MAHOGANY CAMELBACK SOFA. Late 18th century. The padded back with serpentine crest rail, joined to the outscrolled downswept padded arms, centering a rectangular seat cushion, the slightly bowed seat rail raised on three tapered, square, reeded, frontal legs and three backswept legs, all joined by recessed box stretchers. SIZE: 82″ l. x 35-1/2″ h. of back. CONDITION: Recovered in soft pink velvet upholstery, fully refinished and restored. Very good clean condition. 9-93857 (3,250-4,250)
