FEDERAL INLAID MAHOGANY PEMBROKE TABLE. Late 18th, early 19th century, New England. The rectangular figural mahogany single board top with D-end hinged leaves all with satinwood stringing above the conforming frieze fitted with drawer and opposing simulated drawer, the brass handles pressed with an ear of corn, raised on delicate square tapering legs headed with pendant bellflower inlay within striped borders and inlaid with satinwood cuffs. SIZE: 28-3/4″ h x 21-1/2″ w x 30″ d. Open: 40″ w. PROVENANCE: From a fine private Maine collection. CONDITION: Professionally repolished and restored with rich color and nice patina.
