FULL BODY COPPER RUNNING HORSE WEATHERVANE. Late 19th century, New England. This nice gilded example with sheet copper mane, molded head and tail, offered with original directionals. Now mounted on a modern stand. SIZE: 18-1/2″ h x 31″ overall l. 69″ h including stand. CONDITION: Weathervane appears to retain early if not original gilding and is without restoration. Proper left ear is bent downwards, but with no separation of seam. Weathervane without bullet holes. Generally very good. 9-29057 (2,000-3,000)
