FULL BODIED COPPER ROOSTER WEATHERVANE. Third quarter 19th century, Waltham, Massachusetts. Attributed to Cushing & White. A well-defined model with hollow comb and tail, with cast bronze feet, all with verdigris surface. Now accompanied by a wooden stand. SIZE: 21-1/2″ h x 17-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Very good overall condition with no seam separations, minor rust corrosion to base of rod. Verdigris as previously stated, and with old, yellow painted surfaces. 9-28496 (3,000-4,000)
