EDWARDIAN INLAID MAHOGANY DISPLAY CABINET. Late 19th century. This delicate example with a pair of astragal-glazed cabinets, centering a medial shelf flanked by rectangular beveled mirror plates headed by turned balustrades further surmounted by scrolled and architectural cresting. The cabinet set on a rectangular table, the frieze inlaid with plumed paterae raised on square tapered legs terminating on Marlborough feet. SIZE: 68″h x 38″w x 14″d. CONDITION: With original surfaces. Missing sections of cresting (see photograph). Also missing several pierced, carved returns. Otherwise very good. 9-24374 (800-1,200)
