2 REDWARE SMALL JUGS W/APPLIED HANDLES. 19th century, American. The first example with dark coffee color and high glaze, with applied thumbprint handle. The second example of dark olive-brown coloration, manganese decoration and unglazed foot rim. Both of bulbous form. SIZE: 1ST: 6-1/2″ h. 2ND: 6″h. CONDITION: The first very good, no imperfections noted. The second with base rim chip, otherwise very good. 9-99748 (300-500)
