P. D’AVESN VASE. Wonderful D’Avesn vase is done in smoky gray glass. The foot is decorated with a band of walking tigers, while the top of the vase is decorated with large vertical palm leaves. Background shows remnants of green patination. Signed on the underside with raised block letters “P. D’Avesn France” and etched on the underside “Lorrain Ovington New York France”. SIZE: 9-1/8″ t. CONDITION: Very good with tiny nick on outside lip of vase. 5-66703 (800-1,000)
