AMERICAN QUEEN ANNE TILT TOP MAHOGANY TEA TABLE. Second half of the 18th Century, probably Rhode Island. Circular two-board top hinged on a cylindrical urn-form shaft raised on a bold tripod cabriole leg base terminating in ridged platform pad feet. SIZE: 26-3/4″ x 32-1/2″ dia. CONDITION: Top with professional restoration and cigarette burns, and old seam split, additionally with a spliced repair. Otherwise good. 9-98782 (700-1,000)
