TIFFANY STUDIOS RARE GRAPEVINE POWDER BOX. Only known to exist in two patterns. This power box is the rarest of the rare having a silver finish over white and gently striated yellow glass. We feel that this powder box was possibly a special order. A similar example may be referenced in Tiffany Desk Sets by William R. Holland on page 85 in Fig. 3-15 where he mentions that the interior of all power boxes is shiny brass regardless of outside finish. This box is signed “Tiffany Studios New York”. SIZE: 4-1/2″ h x 3-1/2″ w. CONDITION: Very good with some tarnish to silver and minor scratches to interior brass finish. 5-68964 (2,500-3,000)
