CHIPPENDALE STYLE CARVED MAHOGANY MIRROR. Late 19th/early 20th century, American. The rectangular mirror plate within a parcel-gilt and molded surround, the bench-made figured mahogany frame with scalloped crest, centering a gilt plume, flanked by scrolled ears above parcel-gilt fillets, above a scrolling apron. SIZE: 37″h x 21-1/2″w. CONDITION: Surfaces with some shrinkage cracks, mirror plate and backboards original. Very good overall. 9-24423 (400-600)
