TIFFANY STUDIOS GRAPEVINE HUMIDOR. Scarcely found grapevine humidor is decorated with a gold grapevine pattern on jar and exterior lid with the inner cap having a gold pine needle decoration. The jar section of the vase is backed with deep green striated glass. A similar example may be found in the book Tiffany Desk Sets by William R. Holland on page 89 in Fig. 3-26. Even though the interior cap is pine needle, we feel that this humidor has always been this way and it is fairly common to find Tiffany desk items in mixed etched metal patterns. This humidor could quite possibly have been a special order with the gold finish and green glass. The jar is signed “Tiffany Studios New York”. SIZE: 6-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with minor wear to gold finish. 5-68966 (4,000-6,000)
