NEW ENGLAND FEDERAL PINE & MAPLE TALL CHEST OF DRAWERS. Circa 1800, probably New Hampshire. The rectangular dovetailed case with applied molded cornice, fitted with five long drawers, the uppermost simulating two drawers, on a molded base raised on bracket feet with shaped returns. SIZE: 50″ h. x 38-1/2″ overall w. x 36″ case w. x 19-3/4″ overall d. CONDITION: Molded cornice, base and bracket feet with old repairs and restoration, using original pieces. Brass hardware and backboards original. Good overall. 9-99146 (800-1,200)
