CARVED & PAINTED FIGURE “THE EGYPTIAN” BY STEVE HUNECK (1948-2010). The 41″ carved African American clothed in blue pants, white shirt, & blue and white Nike sneakers. He has a Walkman attached to his hip which leads to a pair of carved headphones. He is in the classic Egyptian style pose immortalized by the Bangles song “Walk Like an Egyptian”. He is peg mounted to a tapered column paint decorated plinth. Signed on the underside of the plinth with title, artist and dated “85” and “St. Johnsbury”. SIZE: Overall: 63″ h. CONDITION: Very good, minor scrapes & dirt. 9-27415 (2,000-4,000)
